Position: Brown & Clermont Adult Career Campuses Adjunct Welding Instructor (Evening Hours)
Location: Georgetown Campus, Southern Hills CTC, 9193 Hamer Rd., Georgetown, OH 45121
Salary: Contract Position, @$28.50/ hour as needed
Position Description:
The Welding Instructor shall work closely with the BCACC administration, staff, students and central office to plan, implement and evaluate student-learning experiences in the field of welding. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
The Welding Instructor must meet the minimum qualifications of an instructor as follows:
· Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
· A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
· Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
· Meets all mandated health screening requirements
· Possess a valid Ohio teacher’s license/certification for welding instructor*
*NOTE: Applicants not currently certified/licensed to teach must hold a high school diploma and have a minimum of five years’ work experience in the welding field.

The Grant Career Center Board of Education has voted to place a combined 1.99-mill facilities issue on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. The issue pairs a 1.15-mill, 37-year bond for renovation and addition with a 0.84-mill continuing permanent improvement levy required by the state to maintain the new facilities. Please join Superintendent Mike Parry and Treasurer Kelly Sininger for an informational session on July 16, 2026 at 7:00pm at Grant Career Center, 718 W. Plane Street, Bethel, Ohio. We are so proud of Chloe Anderson and Serentiy Smith for representing Allied Health at the International HOSA competition in Indianapolis! While they didn’t place this year, they gained valuable knowledge, made lasting memories, and met students from across the country while trading PINS!

Game Day. Web Design, CSI and Photography are all competing at SkillsUSA Nationals in Atlanta this morning.
One of our favorite end-of-year Media Arts projects is here! Through Grant Career Centers satellite Media Arts program at New Richmond, students took everything they’ve learned and applied it in the Custom Cultural Kicks Project - designing custom shoes inspired by New Richmond and Cincinnati culture. From sketching and digital design to painting, printing, sewing, and final production, students experienced the full creative process while creating wearable works of art. Incredible work!
