Proud day at Grant Career Center—our Veterans Day Luncheon brought students, staff, and community together to honor those who served. Thank you, Veterans. 🇺🇸

Simple & Professional
Thank you to Travis Baudendistel of Building Crafts and Bill Davis of Towne Properties for generously mentoring our students during the concrete slab pours at Burke Park. Your guidance and expertise made this hands-on learning experience possible!

The Grant Career Center FFA has returned from the 98th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis IN.
It was a 3-day packed adventure of General sessions, workshops, meetings, and even a Rodeo, with over 79,000 FFA members from every state in the nation.
We also squeezed in a tour of the Purdue University Equine Specialty Hospital, where Tracy Reich spent a large portion of her day showing us the facility and sharing the day-to-day operations of the Hospital. Thank You, Tracy!
Friday morning, we traveled to Everhart Herefords. Bruce Everhart, past President of the American Hereford Association, shared his knowledge and expertise in raising and showing quality Hereford cattle.
Thank you, Bruce and Shoshanna Everhart, for your dedication and encouragement to our FFA students.
Saturday, we wrapped up our week with a very early start to the FFA American Degree award ceremony, where only 1% of the national organization members accomplish this goal.
Our very own, Shelby Cornwell, was awarded this distinguished award, and we are very proud of her accomplishments, leadership and encouragement to Grant Career Center FFA
Congratulations Shelby!

Students Take Their Skills on the Road!
What an amazing day of outreach! Today, our students swapped the classroom for the road and headed over to Ebon C. Hill Intermediate (Grades 3-5 in Bethel, OH) to share their knowledge and skills with some really cool kids.
They did a fantastic job of demonstrating their skills and sharing valuable career information, giving the younger students a glimpse into future possibilities.
A huge thank you to the staff and students at Ebon C. Hill for hosting us and making our students feel so welcome! We love opportunities to connect with the community and inspire the next generation. #ChooseToBeGreat #BTBetterTogether

Class Pet of The Week!
Meet one of our famous Ferrets, Herby!
He is a 2 1/2-year-old boy, and he likes to sleep awkwardly in his little hammock. Herby loves giving people kisses and snuggling in their pockets while they work. Since Halloween is coming up, he decided to show you his costume idea as a dragon! Do you like it? #studentreporter
